Child benefit
I know child benefit can be backdated 3 months. Is that 3 months from when you make the claim? I made the claim in May and they still haven’t processed it yet. Does that mean my first payment would be 6 months to include the three months backdated and the three months since i claimed?! (my daughter is 2). thanks!

Nope, it’s 3 months backdated from date was processed as previous mum mentioned… I tried to argue that since the application took longer than 3 months would I get backdated more 😂🥴 this seem to speed up the application!
