Blood test results

My sons took 20 days, hopefully your little girls one comes back soon

Mine is 1y/o nearly and nobody want to make her blood test😤we have our appoiment with dietitian on 10th september and i will ask again to do it

@Tiffany oh wow we are 16 days in so far just hoping we find out soon 🙏 Also sorry to ask was it numbers that you got back? I see a post before and it was numbers which indicated the level of allergy

@Adriana for us we have had 2 calls with different dieticians but due to suspected ige allergy they can't help us The paediatrician was the one who sent us for testing but only because they suspect ige not non ige so maybe thays the reason

Ours were about 3 weeks x

Also just to add you can still see a dietitian with an IGE allergy too. We’re still under them and have IGE but also non IGE. They’re not just for management of symptoms x

@Yazmin was about to comment this they help with both ige and non ige so @Emma-louise I wouldn't cancel it as if you cancel it they'll take you out of the system and you'll have to be referred again and start the waiting time all over again

@Yazmin @YazmynJade I got told by 2 different companies that if she's ige then she will have to have a hospital dietician as they don't deal with ige allergies 2nd time she was referred was simply because the paediatrician wanted us to have someone for the milk ladder once she's one but had a call on 20th and was told if she comes back ige then we have to get paeds to refer her to a hospital one Not sure if this is jusy my area 🙈

But luckily for both appointments with dieticians our wait time wasn't long just for the paeds

@Emma-louise oh are you not under a hospital dietician aleady? It's standard NHS practice to refer you to one when prescribed cmpa formula

@YazmynJade no so we was with oviva the first appointment who signed her off after 1 call and now I'm not sure as it says nelft but obviously they aren't hospital dieticians either Feel like we have had no help with them at all because she's suspected ige but they don't listen well as tye letter bsck to paeds said wheat allergy and she's okay with wheat

my daughter has had 3 allergy tests done in waited 1 month each time and they kept telling me there wasn’t enough blood to do the test ! she’s 1 on friday and i’ve been doing this since she was 3 months old it’s a joke

@Lauren🤍 oh wow that is awful! How can they not take the correct amount of blood! Poor baby We still have no idea of results yet unfortunately my drs have tried to chase results a few times and heard nothing back
