On day 3, day 1 and 2 went perfectly! No accidents. Day 3 and he’s wet himself twice and refuses to go on it. But we’re going to keep going, consistency is key! Keep going xxx
For us, it just happened. My girl was ready, and we just followed her lead. Yea, pooping was the more difficult one. By day 3 we were out at a comic con for a good few hours, only had a teeny accident just as we were waiting on the bus after she drank some water (yep, we had the refusal of drinks). Wouldn't even use the travel potty that day either. Now, she will use the toilet anywhere we go and even the travel potty. Last month, we had an accident over at the soft play only caz she was so distracted playing that we had to ask her if she needed the toilet. Now if an accident was to happen she gets very distressed. For bed we still use bed time pull ups but she will wake at night to use the toilet.... just take your time, if an accident happens just clean it up and move on without saying anything. We have been nappy free since around 24th July I think. There was no rush tho and no pressure. Even after they've been potty trained for a while, there will be an accident somewhere.
We were similar. Day one and two okish, day three zero issues, didn't have to wash any clothes. Day four wr were back to the start. She is starting week 3 and has been great the past couple of days. I imagine it's one of those things that go up and down. No rush, no pressure, she just says uh oh and we clean it up and move on. She does wear nappies at night but she wakes up to use the toilet now, so we will see how it goes.
Day 5, doesn’t even want to sit on the toilet 🤦♀️
No matter what we do, my daughter has a meltdown about potty training. Tried staying home for three days with no nappy and putting her on the toilet. We've read loads of books together and watched videos, but she just does not want to do it. It stresses me out as I feel constant pressure from people about it 😪
Following as well cuz we are in the same boat
