Mammassss helllpp😭😭(stinky underarms at church)

Okay so this is such an embarrassing thing for me…I am the type of woman that loves to keep clean and smell nice and look nice right? So today before church I worked out in my living room and took my dog and son out for a run up and down a hill and came back home to start getting ready…my plan was to give my son a bath, and then take a shower MYSELF😭…well…by the time I got done washing my baby my husband says…”TIME TO GO!”…so…I knew I was super sweaty all morning and hurry up and threw my clothes on but I thought to myself ehh it can’t be that bad right? “I showered last night” I thought to myself as I rushed out of the door…well…we drove to church…didn’t notice anything…I checked myself out before we went in…didn’t smell anything…but during praise and worship I started to get a whif of something 🫢😅 I said Babe…I think my underarms stink….can you smell it? He said not really…well as time progressed I could definitely smell my armpits which means the other church members I hugged and fellowshiped with today could smell them and I’m like oh my goshhhh so embarrassing!!!! 🥲😂😂😂 we got in the car I said Babe, smell my underarms…he goes yes, they’re kicking 🙃 I’m like my Lord…so embarrassing I wonder who all smelled that. Well…I say all this to say has anybody ever dealt with something like this??? Like I’m a person who loves to have good hygiene like I can explainnn lol. Should I feel as embarrassed as I do? Lol next Sunday I will do my best to keep it together and possibly not workout so close to having to leave for church!

@Kat Lollll I wasn’t quite sure if it stunk stunk you know 😆 so I was keeping quiet hoping no one smelled it but when we got in the car it was confirmed…honey is stunk 🤣

If you did smell and it was a one off, then this time next year let alone a few weeks, no one will remember. Most importantly, God sees the sacrifices you make to love, serve and honour him by looking after the temple he gave you, the child he blessed you with, by teaching them in the way they should go and putting there needs before your own. God also sees the commitment you make to Him by forgoing a shower to leave on time to worship him. Your heart is in the right place in seeking first the kingdom of God to be honest lol and, you are self aware, try and be self forgiving as it sounds like you are repentant in planning how best to not make the same mistake again. You are blessed sister like for real- heart and mind in the right place

I keep baby wipes, a mini deodorant, essential oil roller, pair of clean panties, a few panty liners, a gallon zip lock bag always in my purse in a zippered bag; so I can clean myself up on the go anywhere. I keep a change of clothes, body wash, microfiber cloth, micro towel, flip flops in my car to shower on the go. The same for my kids in their backpacks.
