I’m reading the oh crap potty training book currently which is really good!
No tips as we havent done it yet but from lots of other posts and groups im waiting for my toddler to show signs of being developmentally ready which works well for us as our next baby is due 13th via csection so im happy for her to stay in nappies for now🤣 but we have got some potty training books ready for when the time comes.
Whenever he’s showing all signs of being ready. He’s currently scared of both the toilet and potty and wouldn’t even sit on them 😂
Does anyone know what the signs of readiness are?
18 months is the best time to begin introducing the potty, e.g having one in the room and starting to say you’ve pooed/weed in time for actual potty training around age 2. There are so many helpful resources such as the ERIC website. Pooland. Try and avoid reward systems as they often can cause anxiety about not being good enough x
