Are you willing to share any warnings or any ongoing side effects or is it the best thing ever? Any hormonal changes?

Haven’t had my tubes removed, but would like to. My mom did have one ovary and part of her other ovary removed and it sent her into early menopause. But it was a needed surgery.

I had my tube's tied and a partical hysterectomy on the same day. All that's changed is I take estrogen pills. My periods were irregular for a few months, but I haven't noticed a significant change and I had it done six moths ago roughly

i wont be getting my tubes tied. Will be asking hubby to get a vasectomy. getting tubes tied requires a risky surgery whereas a vasectomy is just a small snip that can be done within 7 minutes. tied tubes cannot be reversed, vasectomies can be reversed. ive birthed children, so i wont be having an invasive surgery when theres other ways around it.

I had my tubes removed after my daughter was born in April 2024. I don't really feel any different. I've always had heavy periods and some cramping. Maybe after a while longer, I would have something better to report. But for now. I feel the same as I did before getting pregnant.

I had my tubes removed about 8 months ago when i had my son. i had it with my Cs, so I didn’t have to do any extra surgery. I haven’t noticed any side effects except my periods are even more irregular than they used to be; but that can be as a result of postpartum. The only thing is I sometimes miss it, I sometimes wonder what if I want more kids 😂😂 but asides that everything is a breeze

@Kharis, same, my daughter is my third child, and I got it mostly because of the pressure from my mom. I would have rather get put back on my birth control, but oh well. If I really want one in the future, then hubby is gonna have to help pay for ivf.

I had one tube removed because of hydrosalpinx. It was leaking toxins, so I couldn't get pregnant. But I had no side effects from just one.
