I haven't taken that medication before but I did yake provera as it induces a period because I too have PCOS and after the last pill, i was told it could take up to 2 weeks for a period to come so maybe its similar to that possibly? I would say that since the doc stated you will receive your period today, and you said you'll wait til tomorrow to call, then you're doing everything you can. Im also awaiting for my period to start so we can begin. Fingers crossed your period starts soon.

Oh ok ….i will see if I come on tomorrow if not I will give them a call, because she did sound very sure I would have done today ….unless I have a cyst or something? I dunno if that would affect it 🤷‍♀️ never wanted a period so badly 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ …..always something with ivf x

Cysts can cause delay in period so that could be a possibility. I totally get it! Every day im checking to see if my cycle came on so i can start lol

I was delayed. No cysts and just came on a day and a half after expected. Just meant I started stims slightly later than planned.

My clinic always books my first scan in for 3 days after stopping the norethisterone (even though they say the bleed should happen 3-5 days after). Each time, I have had to ring them on the day to say that it hasn't started yet and we have had to push the scan back and delay. Hopefully you are the same and just need an extra day or so. So I’m down regulating for a FET so I was meant to start yesterday being day 5 but didn’t and still haven’t today, I let them know and just waiting for the doctor to get back to them, as I have a lining scan booked for next week ….but I haven’t started the medication (oestrogen) as I haven’t had a bleed …so I’m guessing it’s going to push it all back ….i don’t even feel like it’s going to come ….i knew this was happen I hate my body so much sometimes 😫

It's so frustrating isn't it. Especially after years of hating when a period comes, it's so confusing to be wishing for it!! I ended up having my first scan (to check the lining) delayed by 4 days (which ended up being longer than needed because of the bank holiday weekend) and then started the oestrogen that evening so the whole regime has been pushed a few days. It's really annoying but nothing ever seems to go to plan. I also always feel like my body is failing me! Hopefully it's just a bit of a delay and you can still carry on very soon 🤞

Extremely frustrating. I also struggling with lining too so I know I will need an extra week as I did last time but I’m prepared for that. Thank you ladies for getting back to me, it’s nice to hear from other that actually understand. X
