Hey ladies, My baby is due in December and will be half Nigerian, Igbo. I’m Indian, and I believe it's so important for my child to know and embrace both cultures. I'd love for my child to learn the language, though I know it’ll be a challenge since I don’t speak it myself! I hope you don’t mind me joining this group, but I would really love to get to know some of you, build friendships, and maybe plan some future play dates. I can cook and have learned the basics—chicken stew, jollof rice, suya, and puff-puff 🤤—but I’d love to learn more. I’m also excited to hear about traditions and the beautiful fashion! I’ve found some books online, but I know nothing beats learning from real-life experiences. Looking forward to connecting with you all! 💕
