toddler hitting pregnant belly

ik im not the only one but like should i be concerned that my toddler has hit or stepped on my belly? im 3 months currently just entering 2nd trimester and my toddler stepped on my stomach. its not the first time and im trying to teach him to be gentle with my belly. i cried out of frustration this time bc like it keeps happening on the bed with him and i don’t want anything to happen to my baby. it hurt and still kinda does but idk if its worth going to the hospital for since im not like super far along. i was looking it up and it said i should be ok if im not further along but idk im just worried. my gender reveal is literally tmrw so idk im just freaked out. also any recommendations on teaching a toddler to be gentle (lol) or preparing toddler for sibling?

I wouldn’t worry they are pretty protected in there!!! We do “gentle hands” - he mostly understands 😂

My 10 month old honestly kicks me in the belly I am only 5 months baby should be okay he is super small right now

My little one does this and it drives me up the wall. However, I know she does it on accident and excitement sometimes so I try to redirect her energy away from my belly and body…other times I get dad involved..and then sometimes I cry because geez it really frustrates me lolz but she tries her best stop be gentle and will even say sorry momma and kiss my belly💜💜

I asked my OB this and was told as long as I don’t have any cramping, spotting, or leaking, then it’s totally fine!! Your body is made to grow and protect your little bundle 💕

I always got my toddler to kiss my belly, I’m sure ur toddler isn’t actually hitting and is more trying to rub ur belly. I also got my toddler a baby doll and taught him what I would have to do with the baby. He would feed them a fake bottle and rock them to sleep

my toddler was the same with my pregnant belly- he used to try to kick my belly when changing his nappy (he always does it) so i used to sit further back to give us more space and tell him to be gentle to my belly, he would listen sometimes but you have always got to be cautious. as long as you’re not in pain or bleed afterwards, you should be fine. babies are quite protected when they’re inside us, so i’m sure everything is fine. just be mindful about it & you’ll be fine ☺️
