Is this normal or is it too soon?

My little girl is 2.5 yrs old and we have been potty training since wednesday so today was day 4. She has been happy to sit on the potty since day 1 and does her wees on there or the actual toilet. Ive been leaving her naked or with just knickers on so she is used to wearing them when we go out but she keeps weeing a little in her knickers/floor then stops says "its wet" goes to the potty and finishes her wee. So i know she understands the potty is for wees but she is leaving it short but can then stop weeing until she gets to the potty. Its not alot just a dribble of wee but obviously wets her knickers or the floor. Is this because shes not ready for potty training or is it something that just takes time? Tonight for example id put her pull up on for bedtime and she said its wet and made me take it off and she went and done a wee on the potty so i know she understands the principle its more timing. This is the first baby im potty training and i dont want to force her if shes not ready but also dont want to keep her in nappies if she doesnt need them and after tonight probably wouldnt want to wear them. Thank you 😃

Totally normal for day 4. Keep doing what you are doing. She will get the hang of it. Might just need a few more reminders to go to the bathroom

You’re doing great, it all takes time. Keep at it and you’ll get there 👍👍

She's ready, keep at it! Very normal.
