Buying things?

Obviously no right or wrong answer but i just wondered when people are starting to buy things? I think financially for us it will be easier to start getting things soon to spread it out but curious what everyone else is going to be doing? 🥰

I'm waiting till 12 weeks ! Just feels right for me somehow ?? Very tempted at 10 but holding on!

I started buying stuff as soon as I found out I was pregnant I bought my pram an everything at 5 weeks that was only because I was getting excited with it being my first baby 🤣 I also wanted to get the big things out the way so I wasn’t getting to stressed as I got more heavily pregnant, they say it’s best to start getting stuff after your 12 weeks an all the other big things like the pram etc around 20 weeks. You can start buying things when ever you want to❤️ xx

I’m 12 weeks Monday and I wanted to get the carrycot and car seat as well as a Moses basket. And then throughout the months will slowly get more bits like clothes, bottles etc.x

I’m waiting till Black Friday and hoping I can get everything a lot cheaper 🙈🤣

I'm going to start when I find out the gender. (2 weeks today). I'll be 15 + 2 x

We started at 13 weeks as trying to spread the cost! xx

there’s no right or wrong time! i know people say to buy later on but i’ve already managed to get a big bag of clothes and i’m 10 weeks! for bigger items i’m waiting due to my room needing decorating so i can store things, but definitely no too early about it x

I’m 10 weeks and have been buying some clothes here and there, mainly to spread the cost so it doesn’t all hit at once 😂 for big things I’m waiting a bit, probably towards the end of the year x

@Katie that’s a good shout! I may just do the same

I started buying as soon as I found out. I’m a very anxious person so buy stuff made me feel excited about being pregnant rather than worrying…

I’m 11 weeks and just started buying a few gender neutral bits until we find out the gender. No harm in buying now, especially if you want to spread the cost! ❤️

I’ve bought a couple of little bits here and there but in terms of larger things we went to look at prams the shop assistant recommended purchasing at 20 weeks so we’re going to do that. I do find that buying things makes it feel more real as at this point before the 12 week mark it sometimes doesn’t feel real yet! I think if there’s something you want or on offer, just get it!

I’m 13 weeks and I’ve got a few clothes but that’s it. I’m going to wait until I know the gender to start properly, I’m finding out at 18 weeks

I got things super early so I could start training mommy dogs to get used to them (Moses basket, pram etc)

I am nearly 12 weeks and I have been so tempted to go and buy some but I have held off🤣😫. After 12 weeks I’ll deffo start buying stuff!xxx
