Hard belly, should I be worried?

Hey ladies, I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and my belly has gotten very hard! No other symptoms really other than lower back ache that I’ve been dealing with the entire pregnancy! I can still find my little girl move, so assume it’s nothing to worry about?

Is it on and off hardness? Might be BHicks

It does seem like on and off. I have no cramps though - would that still be Braxton Hicks?

I'm the same. Mine hardens and then goes soft again, I haven't had any cramping either, I've been checked out and everything's fine. If your really worried though speak to your midwife xx

On and off hardening sounds like brixton hicks, sometimes they’re every subtle without cramping and a lot of first time mothers miss them altogether. Mine were without cramping almost the whole pregnancy. I’d maybe observe any additional leakage just to ensure it’s not your waters slowly dripping. If you’re worried, mention to your midwife for sure.

I agree with @Aggs I think a lot of us miss braxton hicks altogether . I was convinced I haven’t had any my whole pregnancy - now 35w but actually now beginning to think maybe I have for weeks and just not realised as I get hardening with absolutely nothing else, I thought it was just baby moving and baby making my stomach hard 😂😂 xx

Thank you ladies!

@Aimee I feel the exact same! Whenever my belly goes super hard I just assume he’s moved position because there’s no cramping with it… maybe they have started and they’re just more subtle than other peoples?👀

@Chloe I'm the same, I'm pretty sure it's just the baby rolling in to a different positi! X

I never felt pain or discomfort with my Braxton Hicks my tummy would just go randomly really hard and tight x

@Chloe I had no idea what I was expecting so just paid a blind eye to it 😂 now when I sit and think it makes more sense to be braxton hicks haha but yes I have no cramping nothing just a less flabby belly when relaxed hahah x

@Aimee it makes me really breathless aswell, but I think I’m so busy rushing about with work I’m not paying as much attention when it happens so I just feel out of breath and uncomfortable and then it passes and I feel fine again!

@Chloe snap! Definitely think it must be them but luckily not really paying much attention to it! X

Mines just permanently hard like a bowling ball! Has been for weeks and weeks
