Birthday

So, I know I still have 4 months, but I like to prepare. My babies birthday is Christmas Eve Eve and due to the timing we aren't going to throw a party and plus I feel we would be paying for everyone else to enjoy a day she won't remember. Anyways, does anyone have any suggestions that isn't Christmas themed for things we could do. I love the idea of the zoo but with being UK good chance it's gonna be freezing/raining etc in december and aquarium is far from us with roads potentially being icy! I don't know if I'm thinking too much but just want it to be special about her not Christmas.

I used to take my little one to build a bear for a birthday bear, he’s not too fussed now he’s older but loved it when he was little

@Jade yes I've heard of this tradition, am I right in saying you also pay for the age they are I.e if they are 1 you pay £1 for the bear and extra for accessories?! Xxx

We’re doing build-a-bear and a night away in York the week before her birthday. And on her actually birthday (22nd December) we’re doing a cake smash x

@Julia those are lovely ideas thank you. Xxx

My baby’s birthday is Christmas Day so everything will be Christmas theme 😂 but we’re thinking of going to winter wonderland!

@Parris oh bless you hahaha, have you been WWL before?

My little ones birthday is also Christmas Eve, I think we will just keep it simple with just a few family members, a cake and some balloons. As it’s his first birthday he won’t know, and we didn’t do much for our eldest first birthday. I think in future years we are likely to celebrate his birthday on a different day and keep with just a family thing on his actual birthday. x

@Hollie 😅 yeaaaaars ago. Have no idea if it’s age appropriate now!

@incognito yes it’s £1 per year of age :)
