TTC second time round

Hey guys Wondering for people who had a second child how long it took you to conceive? I have an amazing little boy Hoping to add to the family next year with my partner who I have been with a while he’s an amazing step dad to my son 🩵 Currently on the pill but wondering how everyone’s experience of trying to conceive second time round was like & how long it took? I don’t want to be naive thinking it’s gonna happen really easily and be disappointed 😩
