So me and my bd been arguing about our daughter first birthday I said I just wanted to dia smash cake but he all like his family not feeeling that so I basically said well if they wanna have a party they should contribute so now we in a bad space and I feel like I’m only doing this to please him and his family cus my family agreeed she ain’t gonna remember no party. So this the little stuff I did find am I doing tooo much or should I just stick with the original plan cake smash

I’m kinda in the same boat. It’s not really for the baby at this point. But the memories will be cute. We’ve decided on something small with about 25-30 people max.Decorate a section of the house and call it a day.

I wanted to keep my baby's birthday simple, but it's also his dad's bday too, so now we're doing a party. I'm exhausted at the thought of it all.

We’re doing fairy first birthday. In my opinion it’s okay to celebrate because you’re also celebrating you. Whether it’s your first year with your first baby or your first year with 2+ kids. It’s a milestone that deserves celebration! But you do what you feel is best for you

Only thing I would say is if they’re not pitching in then don’t bother with party favors. Majority of the time they get thrown out anyways.

And thank you ladies cause I’m losing my mind plus my son birthday is 5 days after baby girl but he want a PS5. And iPhone imma get him the iPhone because school starting up he gonna have to wait for that p5 tho
