Electric shock & total panic

So I just went to unload the dishwasher and forgot that the wiring is dodgy and you have to unplug it first. I got a bit of a shock in both my hands and I was totally panicked about the baby (I’m 10 + 5). My husband told me I was being ridiculous and I was livid that he wasn’t taking my concerns seriously :( we’re abroad at the moment so I called the midwife triage and the voicemail said to hang up if less than 12 weeks pregnant and call your midwife team. They didn’t answer because it’s too early in the morning. Eventually spoke with my MIL who is a nurse and she told us it’s nothing to worry about. Has anyone else had a little electric shock and everything been ok? I know I’m probably being paranoid but better to be safe than sorry I think! I also had a massive go at hubby because I said no matter how ridiculous you think I’m being you have to support me 😂🙈

I was cleaning the house and stupidly went over our light switch with a wet cloth and then turned it on with wet hands and got a shock and felt it go down my arm. I was 6 weeks and it happened to be a few days before my reassurance scan. Everything was fine. You’re not being ridiculous though. I felt the same when I did it

If I wear my sliders into town then everything metal gives me an electric shock, I’ve never thought anything about it and I’ve never been concerned and I’ve had it about 20 times in one day while clothes shopping. Also going to sound controversial but I wouldn’t have had a go at my boyfriend for it everyone panics while pregnant over little things but that’s just my opinion

Yes I was on holiday with my first baby a couple of years ago and was about 30 weeks pregnant. I got an electric shock from the plug socket when unplugging my charger. Felt like something had whacked my hand with a force! Baby was perfectly fine ❤️
