I failed my 1 hr and I just did the 3 hr yesterday and I passed !!!
I'm waiting to after my birthday. Had GDM with my first pregnancy so dreading the results of the screening.
I had to do mine early since I had it with my last pregnancy...and I have it again
Failed the 1hr with both my pregnancies. I passed the 3hr with my 2yr old. Took them early this time. Passed the 3 hr at 11(ish) weeks. Took it again at 24 weeks. Failed 😩 Just because you fail the 1hr doesn’t mean you’ll fail the 3 hr. And remember, there’s nothing you can do. There’s nothing you did. It has everything to do with your placenta.
I didn't think the drink was so bad. I passed, thankfully, but I will say it made me feel a little weird and super hot. I was sweating quite a lot by the end of the hour😅
Baby was also bouncing off the walls about halfway through. I usually don't consume a lot of sugar 😅

@Zariah im only nervous for the results not worried about how it'll taste i have a feeling i wont mind it since they say it tastes like flat thick soda n im a weirdo who enjoys flat soda 😂
@Callista your gonna do fine mama i honestly just didn’t eat before i went i was suffering but i passed and yeah it’s not that bad just sweet as hell baby gone be doing the 2 step🤣🤣
@Zariah 😆I'd be happy to feel him move more he moves now just feels very little nothing crazy and my doctor did tell me to go in fasting and put it for 8 am which I never want to eat early anyways but I do have a bad habit of eating late 😆

@Callista this is my 3rd boy i was almost 3 years clean of pregnancy then boom April hit 🤣🤣 now it feels so weird being kicked and him rolling around in my stomach also hurts a little because he’s measuring quite big
@Zariah this is my first I'm so excited I just started feeling the pains this week tho n it's not it for me. Not from him kicking but just certain positions he gets in I feel that makes me feel pain.

What do you guys mean you have to do a three hour one if you fail 🥹I just did mine I’m nervous !
@Ivy basically the three hour one is one to confirm gestational diabetes if your numbers are high on the 1 hr. It's way more precise but they can screen pretty effectively with the 1 hr so they don't order the 3 hr one unless they need to.
I still have to wait till sep 12 to do mine
