Work from home

Does anyone work from home that's not a pyramid scheme? The thought of leaving this baby to go back to work makes me want to cry 😢🤣

I work from home for QVC, it's since the pandemic exclusively from home and honestly they've been great about not making people go back. I feel lucky.

I work for an energy company that helps save money on your utility bills. You get paid for bringing in customers and you can potentially earn up to £300 per customer along with some other bonuses. If you are in the UK you know about the price hikes for gas and electric in October and January. This company helps you avoid that. Its really simple and easy You are literally helping people lower the cost of their utility bills that they’re already paying.

I work for PwC, 3 days from home and 1 in the office. But honestly most jobs you wouldn't be able to do with baby around, even if employer allowed it. Not unless you're allowed to set your own hours and work when baby sleeps. I couldn't do my job with my son around. I wouldn't be able to focus on the work as I should nor could I give him the attention he needs and deserves.

I’m a training coordinator that works solely from home but as above, I couldn’t have my son there whilst working. It’s written into most work from home contracts. So my son will be going to nursery when 9 months old so I can continue to work.

For the vast majority of jobs that are genuine and not MLMs you would need childcare during working hours anyway.

Childcare is sorted whether I go back to work or stay at home and work I just can't bear the thought of working a job I don't particularly love to leave him Someone tell me it gets easier I was lucky with my first cos I worked for myself running pubs n had my mum n dad

Feel free to message if you're looking for a change. As said I work for PwC. I'm in the Belfast office working as an anti-money laundering analyst. They always have loads of jobs around all the UK offices, from specific degree-level jobs to entry-level jobs to management jobs or even experienced hires with the on-the-job training. I was the latter coming from customer service and hospitality mostly. I had only had minimum experience in AML and KYC, and a degree in transnational crime & security, so not in financial crime or anything. My team has people from all backgrounds with or without degrees. Have a look at their careers website and see if there's anything that might suit you. I can do an internal referral for you if you want

@Lisette thank u I'll message u in a little while Just taking the baby for his jabs 😢
