Colours

Can your toddlers identify and name colours? If I say this is green this is purple he will repeat after me. Then if I say what colour is this he says RED for everything. 🤣

Mine does exactly what you’ve said, but everything is white

Mine only says blue for everything, it’s so funny hearing others do this with different colours 😂😂

My boy knows some of his colours - he’ll point at a car driving past and say ‘red car’ or ‘white car’ or he’ll name the colour of his blocks and he gets it right. He loves the colour pink, he gets so excited when there is something pink. When he first started learning colours he learned green first, then blue and red. He took an interest in learning his colours in the last few months. But it just depends what interests the kids at the time!

She can identify all the colours now but to begin with she was the same saying all where red 😂 think it’s just one of the easiest to say haha

My little boy can identify, orange, yellow, red, blue, purple and green. He will often tell me something is orange before then shaking his head and telling me the correct colour. I think orange is his favourite as he was asking to wear orange this morning for nursery 😄

Haha mine used to say everything is red but now she’s starting to get it right more often still makes mistakes

Yeah my LG knows them all except black and brown. Occasionally just says a random one but is 90% correct. It’s not expected right now and saying red to everything is completely normal:)

She can recognise and say them, it often choose not too because she absolutely hates doing anything we ask her too 🤣🤦‍♀️ it's like she refused to "perform" But sounds perfectly normal lovely! Xx

My boy is the same but everything is blue. Think he learned that from ‘Bluey’ 🤦‍♀️😂
