I normally didn't have periods on the implant if you mean the type that goes in your arm

Yeah the one in your arm , I have regular heavy periods still with the implant . I rarely am late to my period

There is always a small chance of getting pregnant but it would be quite rare. I think as well they say it is more likely to happen if you are sick which causes the implant to not work. I could be wrong though, that’s just what I remember being told when I had mine
