Working from home

In order to get to do this, has anyone had a note from a midwife or a doctor?

I work from home 4 days a week anyway however for that 1 day, my work have advised that if I need/want to work at home for any reason due to my pregnancy then just send them a message to let them know and it’s absolutely fine. I’ve not needed a Dr note or really had any queries as to why when I have remained at home they’ve been brilliant actually xx

Yeah my work were just understanding about it too when I needed to wfh during severe pregnancy sickness. Suggest just having a chat with your manager about why it would help you and see what they say.

My work have not been helpful in the slightest. I have been able to move locations for work so I'm closer to home, but not work from home. I am in constant discomfort at the moment and would feel much better in my own environment. Hoping somebody has some advice 🤞🏼 xx

My work have been very difficult about this too. I asked nicely and got nowhere so i got a doctors note to say i’m fit to work with recommendation to work from home due to pain. If they don’t agree to the conditions, then you are deemed not fit to work by GP and can be signed off. Sad we have to even use this route in 2024 really, but will get you what you need
