First tooth

So my daughter just got her first tooth, and I’ve been hearing you’re suppose to make a dental appointment like right away… is that true?

My son has 6 teeth and we have no seen a dentist 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t think there is a need

I would just ask her doctor. My daughter’s second tooth is working its way through and the next doctor appointment is 9 months so I plan on asking then

My oldest didn’t see a dentist until she was 3 years old. My 10 month old has an appointment booked just before he turns 1. I don’t think it really matters tbh.

I made an appointment and they do check the jaw and feel gums for extra teeth and they educated me on dental health for babies. Bringing her back when she's one so she can get acclimated to the dentists chair so she's not afraid as she gets older

My son just came with me when I had a check up and they had a Quick Look! Dentist said they’re not really bothered until they have lots of teeth but it’s about getting them used to the environment.

Nah

That’s what I heard 🤔 I think when they’re 6 months or older. I assumed they’d do X-rays and look at all the teeth under the gums

I made an appointment before my daughter had teeth and they just made an appointment for 10months when they think she would have teeth..she's just turned 7months and has her bottom two teeth and the back 2 are now coming in x

I hear it's most common to see a dentist at 2-3 years. It's good to start brushing teeth early though!

I think that’s unnecessary, unless you’re worried the teeth aren’t coming in well. You just need to focus on brushing her teeth every morning and night and try to get an organic or perhaps edible toothpaste. My LO kept gobbling his ‘toddler’ toothpaste up 😂 so be ready.
