Gift idea

So I saw online a father's day gift idea (could be for any yearly occasion) that was a plain blank book and each year the child writes in or draws or adds a message. I loved the idea but I'm not sure what kind of book, journal, note, scrap???? Have you seen that vid online or could you recommend a book? I had a little look at officeworks kmart etc but couldn't find suitable one.
