Poo’s took longer for us too, but my daughter is doing so much better with them now (we are about 2 months in now and this has changed in the last week) For us I figured it was a privacy thing as prior to potty training when she was in nappies she would have to go and hide to have a poo in her nappy, so when I could tell she was needing to go I would encourage her to have it on the potty and put it somewhere hidden away and say “Mummy go away” and leave her to it. Also when she did have accidents I would ask her “where does mummy have a poo” which she would answer “toilet” just lots of active encouragement really. My daughter gets so excited by fairs and rides too and there happened to be one on locally so I used that as a reward for if she had a poo on the potty. I think they are possibly abit freaked out when they first see their poo after having their nappy changed all their life that it just takes them time to get used to it! Xx
We are the same one of my twins does it in his undies it’s been 3 months now and he is always dry but poos won’t go not sure what to do
I’d like some tips too 😂 we’re the same as you with him using the potty or toilet for wees but will only poo first thing in the morning just after he wakes up 🙄
