Potty training tips and tricks anyone??

My daughter is 3 and 3 months. She managed to wee once in the potty I’ve praised her for it and she was excited that she done it. I thought this was a good start. But, now she just wees and poos on the floor or sofa. Sometimes when I tell her to just sit down she refuses. And I’m struggling to really tell when she needs it as she’s not really showing signs. Do I just keep putting her on the potty straight after the accidents? Any tips and tricks would be great!

I’d say take her to the toilet every hour/ 45 minutes because you’ll have to transfer from the potty to the toilet, accidents happen. Then she’ll start getting the idea of using the toilet when she needs to go! It’s helping with my daughter we don’t use the potty anymore. Hope this helps x

We used the “Oh Crap” book method and I’d highly recommend it! x

My daughter started to use the toilet quite a lot but for some reason went and continues to use her potty, I’ve got the seat attachment for the toilet with steps and I leave it on the toilet to encourage her to use the toilet and not the potty at times it works, but she used to follow me to the toilet all the time
