Preterm labor?
Did anyone who experienced preterm labor experience prenatal depression and decreased appetite before labor started? I’ve also been getting extremely light cramps (3rd pregnancy and it doesn’t feel like contractions more like a period. I’m expecting twins.

Yes I am going through it right now sadly and I am 33 weeks. I went to the hospital few days ago because the cramping was so bad I couldn’t take it to find out I was having contractions very close to and strong they ended up keeping me but nothing happened so ended up going home next day. The cramping is from our uterus preparing for labor.doctors said don’t forget have twin babies in there dropping and making everything work over load .
@Hannah DuPont i have to ask, did they do a cervical check? Because that definitely sounds like preterm labor and not just braxton hicks contractions. If the pain is continuing and is unbearable i would definitely go back to the hospital.

I was incredibly depressed through my entire pregnancy. I could barely eat in general with twins due to acid reflux so i just stopped eating. Tge pain was unbearable and my doctors ignored all my pain until i went to the ER for it and they told me i was in preterm labor. I had my twins 5 weeks early and still have been experiencing heavy depression. Probably doesnt help but that was my experience
