Imodium in pregnancy
Has anyone here taken imodium during pregnancy? I'm seeing such conflicting information about it-some websites say it's fine, some say it's not recommended. Currently travelling and suffering a little bit but don't want to risk anything! I'm 11.6 weeks pregnant.

I flew over seas for my baby moon. I consulted with my doc about otc meds I could put in my first aid kit and she advised against Imodium. She said to just follow the BRAT diet if I got diarrhea.
Thanks for the responses. It seems erring on the side of caution is best! Thankfully I'm not suffering too much, it was a last-ditch thing because I have a few long car journeys ahead of me but it's helpful to hear that you have both been advised against it.

I feel like when i needed this with my little girl i was advised i couldn’t in First trimester as not enough evidence to show it was safe? But im not sure if its changed x i feel you though it is awful when you cant take anything to help xx
