My BP is the same & no sign of pre clampsia for me.. I’ll be 37 weeks in two days
You can unfortunately have pre-e without the typical high BP. If they are letting you wait then that’s a good sign that it’s not something they are immediately worried about. If they want to induce at 37 weeks, baby is early term and it’s going to be okay. It’s better to get treated (I.e. likely magnesium IV and induction) and make sure you and baby are in the best possible hands. It’s scary and it’s not what you wanted and that’s frustrating. The anxiety is okay but also keep in mind that you and baby will be fine. They are trained for situations like this and they are going to make sure you have everything you need. Try to rest and relax as much as possible right now. Get your hospital bag ready and then take some deep breaths. You’ve got this.
I just had my 36 week appt today and going through the exact same situation
Someone told me if my BP seems to be rising closer to the end it’s usually a sign of preeclampsia even if it’s not considered really high. My BP has consistently been 90/60 or in that 90-96 / 60-68 range. So if doc is thinking to induce I’ll just trust that. Having your baby healthy and you healthy is what matters most. 🩷 Praying for you.
