@Patrice I was anxious about it but honestly they are fine, they don't really hurt and I don't have any side effects so far apart from a little bloating. I built it up as a huge thing in my mind as it felt strange at first to be using needles on myself in a non-clinical setting but once I got over doing it once or twice, it got much easier.

@Katrina omg good luck. This would be my first round as well! If my period decides to start sooner, my transfer will be moved up. I am doing a fresh transfer as well!
@Patrice Eeek! Keeping all fingers crossed for you. I’m still deep down hoping for a miracle before then (don’t know how I have any hope left tbh) 😂 Might end up being November now too instead of Oct.

We are doing a FET I think sometime next month. Our retrieval will be probably end of next week as we only started stims yesterday.

@Kaitlin this is my first cycle and it will be a fresh transfer. How are the stims for you? Was it nerve wrecking your first time?
@Patrice everything so far has been good. The first time my husband and I were both a little nervous, but there's a girl in our area who now runs a business of her own helping people with their injections, educating them and doing injections for women if need be. So we had her on FaceTime going over the meds and she kind of directed my husband where to do them and stuff so it was reassuring for both of us.
@Kaitlin that's awesome! My doctor told me i will be coming in for a class on how to do each injection etc before the injections so thats putting my mind to ease a bit

@Patrice oh that's nice, yeah my office sent me a bunch of videos and we even watched some on YouTube too so if I didn't have the girl that helped up I think we would have been okay, but she was definitely more helpful

Transfer delayed due to lack of 2nd rubella vaccine record at my Doctors from 1996 🤦♀️ I have had it definitely as written down but they have no ‘official record’. So we’re delayed 3 months at least. But still feeling hopeful something might happen for us in the meantime. Wishing you all lots of luck with yours 🥰 xx
@Katrina i didnt even know that certain shots determine if cycle would be delayed or not. So far, my doc hasnt said anything about vaccines. Lets hope nothing causes a delay. fingers crossed for you
So an update from me, surprisingly my period started on its own yesterday so I am waiting for my nurse to follow up with me later today with my new adjusted dates. Looks like i will be doing the retrieval & transfer at the end of october now instead so will keep you ladies updated.
The nurse reached out and it will be as follows: So my last birth control pill will be 10/17. I have my lab, ultrasound and injection teaching appt on 10/16 @ 10am. I start injections on 10/20!
Starting stims now so my transfer will be the week of thanksgiving if all goes well😅🤞🏼

@Sophie after my consultation today. They want me to start provera 9/22 then birth control, then stims and she said my retrieval & transfer will be mid november
