Gift ideas

Just looking for some help if possible for what I can gift/ do for somebody who has beat cancer Back story: my partner started a new job while I was pregnant so hadn’t been there long when I had my baby. During that time he got friendly with a younger guy - he’s only 20 and he is so lovely! When I gave birth, he turned up to work with a personalised teddy with my daughters name, comforter and matching bibs 🥺 I was floored by the sweet and thoughtful and generous gesture. I mean, I don’t expect anything from anyone but a 20 year old guy who hasn’t even known us long?(no disrespect to any other 20 year old guys btw but I was just blown away. My partners lifelong friends of 25 years+ have never even met my daughter…) He also messaged my partner to wish me a happy first Mother’s Day/ my birthday / daughters birthday/ Christmas - just little things like that Fast forward a couple of months and unfortunately he was diagnosed with cancer. My partner has left work now but they have remained friends and we’ve now found out that he has beaten it and is in recovery and I’m absolutely thrilled!! We really want to buy him something or do something for him to celebrate, but I’m not sure what’s appropriate in this situation? I’ve only met him a couple of times and thankfully for me I’ve not been in this position with anyone close to me either but I just want him to know were thinking of him/ happy for him etc I’m not sure what to do! He doesn’t drink so that’s a no go. Does anyone have any suggestions of what would be a suitable gesture to this amazing person? He really deserves it Sorry for the life story🤣

What type of cancer? (It may effect my suggestions)

I think some experience for 2 . fancy restaurant so he can take plus one person. I'm in UK there is plenty to choose from, like brunch in the sky or Harrods or movie diner ( they give you eat exactly what is eaten in movie. Depends on your budget as well.

I’d ask and see what he likes! I did the same for my auntie who is still going through some treatment for breast cancer! She loves Harry Potter so I accumulated some things and made a hamper 🥰
