@Sally-Anne is it really bad that I’m not even sure? I have a follicular scan next Friday? 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve never had it before I have one child I conceived naturally, but I have pcos and I don’t ovulate x
I was the same as you. First child naturally 6 years ago and then stopped ovulating at 26. We are not 4 years on and I only started clomid this time last year. I would say if your follicle scan is Friday they will tell you then if you need to do a trigger shot and give you it. I would maybe start testing ovulation from Friday anyway just go you have a record of it. I finished my 6th round in feb & I only got to trigger shot on my 5th & 6th round as previous to that my follicles weren’t big enough so don’t be disheartened if you don’t get to trigger this round. I’m currently 30 weeks with our miracle so it does happen!
@Sally-Anne so frustrating our bodies can do this to us though isn’t it but reassuring that I’m not alone! I don’t have huge hope it will work first time anyway I don’t have that kind of luck!! 🤣 I didn’t even know the trigger shot was a thing I’ve looked it up and only saw stuff about America 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ thanks so much! I’ve just never known when to track as I knew I didn’t ovulate lol I keep getting strange pains just unsure what they are 🤷🏻♀️ congratulations! Xxxx
If your clinic haven’t mentioned a trigger shot then I don’t imagine you’ll be having one (and also I don’t think it’s the norm with clomid in the UK but I may be wrong). I was advised to start tracking LH 3 days after my last clomid tablet, as otherwise you could get false high readings with the tablet still being in your system. Good luck 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I guess it depends on your area. I’m under mid and south Essex nhs trust and was given the prescription when I got the prescription for clomid. They just told me when to do it if the follicle was big enough too.
Yeah makes sense, trusts seem to do it so differently! I’m in Dorset and they didn’t even mention trigger shots so it must depend!
@Jules I’m Kent but yeah maybe it’s not done here I’m a bit at a loss with it all don’t have too much info If im honest just being given appts x
I always started testing 5 days after my last pill. Test too soon after you’ll get false positives.
Not had a peak yet x

@Dannielle I did however the app never named it as ‘peak’ days 🤷🏻♀️
@Lauren oh okay amazing!! That fills me with lots of hope then, my lines are getting darker but it never registers as a ‘peak’ how many days after your last tablet did you take your pregnancy test? X
@Dannielle finished them on the 29th August! Found out on the 14th September confirmed 15th! X
Are you doing a trigger shot? If you are I would start testing day before trigger shot. If your not I would start from day after finishing clomid. Xx
