@Chelsea I applied too early, I should have waited and applied once I was on maternity pay. My maternity pay stopped at around 6 weeks PP and that’s when I should have applied for it.

@Rudi I think it came as a letter in the post, it tells you that you have so much time to appeal their decision if you don’t agree. I just couldn’t be bothered fighting it.

@Parris hope you have better luck. Gave mine in on the 6th of August and only today got a message they are reviewing it.
@Rudi I forgot to update, I received a text saying it was being reviewed about a week/2 weeks ago. I then rang up due to a change of address which I think sped the process up as I received a text the day after saying it had been awarded to me and it got paid to my bank 5 days after this text x
I applied for mine around 3/4 weeks ago and I’ve not heard a thing
