Teething?

How long were your LO's fussy before the tooth actually started to come through? I'm on day 7 of her being super fussy, lots of shouting and generally seeming quite miserable. She's drooling loads, chewing EVERYTHING, changes to her eating and sleeping patterns but no sign of any teeth coming through. She gets really upset and won't let me near her gums so it's difficult to see if they are Swollen or red. First time mum so not sure what to expect 🙈

My Bonnie started teething just before 4 months but her first tooth came through at 6 months xx

She's had fussy periods before where I'm sure her gums were bothering her but never as bad as this which is why I'm wondering if they are finally coming through xx

Same as Ellie my LO started teething around 4 months and her tooth has just made an appearance a few weeks ago, she's nearly 7 months now. I would say the discomfort with her teething lasted on and off 4-6 weeks. It wasn't every day. Nelsons teething granules helped, bonjela (keep in fridge) and a teething toy to help them gnaw on something something curb the pain. I tried cold cucumber and a friend told me about spring onions but she didn't like either!

The shouting is just cos she's probably in pain and only way she can vocalise it. Hope some of this helps x

Thanks @Rae, I've got the Teetha powder and it really helps 😊 this has been on and off since 4 months and she is 6 months now so hopefully not too much longer!

My LB has been teething for months :( since he was like 2 months now nearly 7m and still nothing out yet x

Try some teething gel. I use Ashton & Pearsons
