Universal credit

I currently claim universal credit, baby is 4months old, I live with parents at the moment. Me and my partner will hopefully have our own place within the next year (🤞🏼). He works full time, does anyone know if my entitlement would be basically £0? I know it depends on how much he earns etc! But could anyone give me some examples if they have any experience themselves? I'm worried we aren't gonna be able to afford bills

Yeah I don’t think anybody could give you a straight answer without how much he earns. There’s benefit calculators such as turn2us, id look at one of those. But as an example, my ex earned £1500 and we got nothing from UC.

Look on entitledto.com and put all the details in and see what comes up. It varies person to person so no one can give you a straight answer x

The only way to know is to find out properly

Give them a ring and find out from them as they will be able to give you a better answer as everyone will be different. However, I don’t think you will be entitled to universal credits if you own your home instead of renting. I know I can’t get any as my partner earns too much (which I don’t think is fair as he makes 3x what I make) and we have bought our home so I can’t claim anything. I’m only entitled to child benefits and that’s it x
