I started potty training my 3 yr old lad last week, naked from the waist down for the 1st three days and just kept asking and asking do you need a wee, do it on your potty, he had accidents and sometimes did half and half, like he'd start to wee on the floor but then got to the potty and finished on it. He did both pee and poos on it. Really just drum it into them that they go on the potty. My son went back to nursery today I rang them at 1pm to ask how he was getting on they said he hasn't used the potty and he's only let them know after he'd wet himself, but they said even though it's messy it's good because he needs to feel uncomfortable and to realise it's not nice being wet, and it's different at nursery than being at home, more distractions and the potty isn't right there with him like it is at home.
