Depending where you are you need to phone the midwives directly to book your first appointment.
Call the midwifery and ask. I had to do that. They will arrange things close to 8/9 weeks
I called them and they say probably next week they will contact me for an appointment since I am still around 6 weeks.
I ended up redoing it and then I got an appointment 😂
Still no contact from them 😩, I self referred myself again to see if I get contacted but nothing.
Call the maternity unit and say that you are already waiting for too long.
But they have only called me when I was around 7 to 8 weeks.
Have you called your gp? That’s what I did and they booked my first appt there and then for when I was 10 weeks
Hey, called the midwife again and for some reason my first referral didn’t go through, she could see the second one that I did two days ago and will sort it out the appointment today for me, at least book it! Thanks everyone for the advice! 💜
Great you did it!!! Be attentive all The time. The app is quite rubbish as well. So take control of it and always call them if you need.
