Broody

Did broodiness literally slap anybody else in the face ??? I said to my partner possibly June/early July time that I feel worried that I’ll never feel the broodiness to have a second baby as I haven’t felt even a slight bit of it since our June 2023 baby and he said he’s sure we both will when the time is right but I was genuinely worried I was one and done!! THEN literally out of no where in late June I had a few things going on that matched my early pregnancy symptoms, were careful and track ovulation to avoid so it was really low chance but I didn’t feel scared for longer than a day and I came round to the idea and I’ve just been broody for it ever since!!!! I watched it ends with us at the weekend and literally the only bit that made me feel some type of way was when she was at the baby scan and holding new born clothes up to her bump and that solidified how much I am dying to be pregnant again I just can’t believe it went from 0 to 100 literally overnight?!? (Which is also why I am not immediately giving in to the urge - seems suss and impulsive 😂😂)

I got broody so soon after having my first and now I’m 33 weeks pregnant with a 15 month old because the urge was so intense!

@Becca it’s insane how much it overwhelms you when the feeling comes isn’t it! I even used to literally dread how I’d ever manage two, now I literally think about it constantly and think how gorgeous it would be to see him around a baby - full on 360 😮‍💨

The only way I could describe it to my partner is that my heart literally ached for a second baby. Like I could feel it inside me how much I wanted to grow our family 😂🫶

@Becca using this as my selling point later 😂😂😂 just been hint hint hinting up to now x

Yep, I had such a bad pregnancy that for the first 4 months I was sure “never again”. Then it hit me. But my husband is an absolute no. I’m gutted & absolutely can’t talk him around unfortunately x
