My son is 6 years old, I’m on my second August due date, I honestly want another August baby but it’s not happening (due date is today) 😢my nephew is born in November and my son has developed far better than he has, he meets all targets if not exceeds! Children are going to progress at their own pace and I’m so fed up with people saying children are disadvantaged, there is always going to be the youngest in class no matter the month of birth! August or September I’m sure you’ll be a great mother and your child will thrive 🥰
I personally wouldn’t worry too much about school. I was born at the very end of July and did just fine in school and wasn’t behind or anything. If they do end up behind then it just means spending more time with them to help them but I do think they all catch up eventually
Doesn't matter when you're born to be good at school or struggle. I'm November. I struggled, but I'm a visual learner, and school doesn't teach that style. My kids will be homeschooled or online for a few courses. My husband and I can teach more than an institution can in 8 hours. We're self employed though so we have that ability.
I’m 100% with you. I’m due Thursday- I’ve had the most uncomfortable pregnancy and now I’m so so so so ready , but on the other hand like you said - with school, I was an August baby and I really felt it in school x
I agree I am 41 weeks and honestly hoping I can hold out until 1st September
There’s truth in what he’s saying! As an August baby myself my teacher did a study when I was in high school. He asked everyone who was receiving extra support in class to put their hands up if they were born after a certain point in the year, the majority of the class in this extra support group put their hands up. 🙆♀️
