We did 3 days at home just pants no trousers and progressed from there. We only use pull ups for bed as he’s not ready to go a full night yet

@Katherine thank you so much xx I’m gojng to just do it myself with my son in a couple of weeks when we are free x

My son is potty trained but my niece who is 4 in December just will not do it. She knows what to do but will happily wee on the floor and dance in it. My brother and sil are at their wits end on how to tackle it. We did naked for a few days, then introduced trousers so he could get used to pulling something down. It was about 3 weeks until he wore pants, pants can be a bit too like a nappy. He hated the feeling of wet trousers. He still wears pull ups to bed.

My son is also 3years 3 months and we started this spring, I just took off his nappy and he was either naked or in pants at home for a few days, we didn’t go out much, he got it pretty quickly. But only wee wee… still didn’t get number 2 on the potty 😩

We just went cold turkey. Straight into knickers one day following a week of being dry at night. Just took a travel potty with us. 2 days of lots of accidents but then mastered it on day 3. Now being dry for a year during the day🙌

Our daughter has been potty trained for a year now. We started with no knickers/trousers over a 3 day weekend and made no plans so we knew we’d be home and we could keep our eyes on her. She then went to nursery on the Tuesday so had to wear knickers and they helped finish it off. Poos took about 4 weeks. We also went straight to toilet and skipped the potty stage. She’s also dry through the night now as well but I understand that is more a hormonal thing rather than something you can train.

Still training. My son wears pull ups but on days that I can, we do just underpants and trousers and I just keep a box of cleaning and spare pants in the bathroom. He’s in nursery now though, so really want to speed up the process.
