December presents 🤦🏻‍♀️

Good morning! I was wondering if anyone co sidered an experience for the LO instead of a physical present as the main one for Christmas or Birthday? We have all presents sorted now (not more than 3/occasion as house rule) but we still need one big for either Xmas or his Bday. And I would like it in a form of experience but I dont know what. If you have any ideas please please share ❤️

Yes. Personally, I prefer this kind of present. We are decorating my daughter’s room for her Christmas present this year 😅 what about a meeting Santa Christmas experience day out? Or a trip somewhere like an aquarium or butterfly farm? They get so many presents at Christmas it’s nice to plan something so there’s another day to look forward to x

@Eira thank you, those are very good ideas. We will see Santa anyway, we have a place nearby where there is a train as well as a carousel, its a great experience for kids (and for adults) and we have been last year. We ve been to aquariums and all the farms near by, I was thinking of maybe LegoLand? He likes Lego, not sure if he is too young, though. Or an amusement park? Again, maybe too little. I suppose repeating experiences wouldn't be a bad idea.

We’re actually going to Disneyland Paris for her birthday, it might seem excessive but it’s completely free for her as she’s under 3! And we are going end of November so it’s cheaper. So we won’t actually be getting her presents. Last year we were overrun with gifts it was just a bit daft then spent money on days out/party etc so we decided not to bother and to take her away instead x

Legoland do a toddler pass for £59. Entry for them plus an adult. You can use it term time Monday - Friday. We’re local to Windsor we get a lot of use from it! But it’s such a great price!
