Too much calpol?

Hi lovelies, My little boy is 15 weeks and teething. He’s been spending most of his waking hours in discomfort and it’s killing me to see him in pain. I’ve been giving him calpol regularly most days but don’t know if I’m meant to be. Is there such a thing of giving too much calpol? Any other advice appreciated 🙏

From the advice my health visitor gave me was to not use it for more than 4 days in a row and to use teething granules or powders

Try teetha or any teething powder as they don’t have any medication in them. They help my little girl. Also found nurofen works better than calpol if that’s any help x

@Victoria what is teetha? Is there much difference between the powder and gel?

It’s teething powder, the best I’ve found anyway. Gel is normally from 6 months plus and powder is 3 months plus. I’ve always found the powder to be better x

@Victoria is it better than Ashton and Parker gel?

Teetha's gel can be used from 3 months too! And I tend to alternate between calpol and nurofen as LO seems to need a dose each day 😩
