What's everyone getting their partners for father's Day?

I need ideas for more mediocre/average presents, he doesn't put that much effort into any celebration for me- mother's, birthdays, Xmas etc. So I'm not doing that much for him this time 😅

I saw Aldi is doing matching pjs for kids and dads, could meet the average bar?

Book him in to take your kid to do something. Father and child time.

Card from the kids Breakfast in bed Dad mug

@Georgia ooh that's a good idea... and it's really a gift to me as well 🤣

Exactly my thoughts! But also set your expectations girlie, tell him to do better.

I did a moon pig card. Super easy online. I just added a bunch of photos. There's also an option to add a QR code that you can record a video for him to see. Adds an extra wow factor while still being simple. I only just got my mother's day present/outing 2 days ago... Just in time for father's day...

@Lauren how long did delivery take? I'm wondering if I'll get it in time if I order it now. Or did you get a digital copy?

Their website says order by 27th for delivery to arrive in time for Melbourne and Sydney father's day. Not sure if they have a digital version

I have never seen a post asking for mediocre presents before! If you don't mind him not putting in much effort all good, otherwise make sure on your birthday/mother's day you ask for what you want, for example 'new earings' a paid 'massage and time alone'. Whatever it is you want, you deserve it ❤️ Also, yes to the mugs and PJs haha

@Kait Louise I've told him what I want since we were first together (9 years ago) and it's the same every year. I like putting in a lot of effort for presents, but want to restrain myself this time. I'm just matching his effort

Oooft sorry to hear. I can relate. It was like that with my ex. I love putting in the effort too! Maybe word it as important because it's one of your love languages 'gifts and acts of service ' or hey babe let's brainstorm ideas for mothers and fathers day next year, so we can BOTH feel loved and cherished....because honestly you deserve to be treated like the most important person ever mamma 💓 I remember in the end my ex ended up getting me a really thoughtful gift that was honestly perfect for me (an art box full of paints and things so I could be creative) and it was a huge shock. My reaction made him want to do it again haha So don't give up, believe it's possible.

@Kait Louise next year my youngest will be weaned from breastfeeding, so what I'll want will be easy- just to be alone for at least a day lol. He really can't go wrong with that 😂

Haha you deserve it mamma
