Yeah. I’ve heard this one more than once. It’s sickening. Even if we both worked; we’d both still be parents dumbass.

I was the same, i was the only one looking after our kid completely AND i had 2 jobs, but he worked more hours than me (obviously because i had to get home for our kid) so he didnt have to do anything, we didnt even live together so wasnt providing for us just himself

Explain to him that while he works 40 hrs a week, you work 168 (24 hrs a day, 7 days a week). You aren't asking to work 0. But splitting responsibilities while he is home from work is an extremely reasonable request.
