Potty training help

Hi! We’ve been potty training the last few weeks taking it very slow. My son will now (when he has no pants on) will tell us when he needs to go for a wee and will go on the potty. But as soon as we put pants on him, he’ll just wee, and won’t tell us when he needs to go. Any tips please? Thank you 🙂

I am in the same position. Today I have taken the next step and just put his pants on. Preparing for lots of accidents, I keep prompting him and also take toys to the potty. Good luck!!

I had this problem with my son too, we're about a month in now and have finally cracked poo too. Basically my boy could wee fine but had accidents when his pants were on. I just had to have a couple of days of lots of accidents again and then he got it. Ditto again for poo

We tried little boxers as someone suggested as pant are tighter so may still feel like a nappy whereas boxers are loose like shorts. May be worth a try xxx

I know it can take a little longer for the poo and were only just over 2 weeks in, but she has mastered the wee pretty much after like day 3 or 4 but will still hide and poo in her pants 🙈 she will apologise so she knows she shouldn't and we don't tell her off as such but it's kind of like, oh Georgia! If you need a poo, we must poo in the toilet. And we'll tell her how well she's doing but doesn't seem to make a difference. Has anyone else got the same issue? X
