@Shana might just give it a go!
Hey my little one is potty trained ! We had a potty is the house since he was about 18 months, he was always going in the bathroom with me and we talk about it aswell during nappy change, so about a month or 2 he started telling me when he was doing a poo, but then he was able to tell me before he had to do it so I started to think that he might actually be ready, but I tought you needed some reward chart ect to potty train so I didnt start, but then about 3 weeks ago he was ripping his nappy and saying poo poo so he went on potty naked pooped and was proud of himself, and then impossible to put back a nappy on him he was distressed he would rip them off, so we gave it a try, first day was a disaster, second a bit better ect after a week he was potty trainned, the only accident he had was yesterday because he is very sick at the moment but he had a nappy on, We have been out and about and we are always out so I go him familliar with seating on toilet without a reducer to be sure it will not be hard for us
And he goes to restaurant and ask to poo and we actually have time to go and find the toilet he can hold it very well and same with pee ! If I was you, if you are having a slow week coming soon I'd take the opportunity
@Bréa thank you!!! This next week will be the last chance I get to do it any time soon, other than that it will have to wait until end of October as work in a school! We will give it a go!! X
My little girl will often come and find us to tell us she has done a poo in her nappy. Shes done a poo on the toilet before but then looked in to see it and I think it freaked her out a bit haha. She will happily sit on the potty but I never force it. It’s just around if she decides she wants to sit on it. My son didn’t potty train till 3 and he was dry day and night in 2 weeks. I’m really relaxed with it this time round. I work in childcare and we often find if children potty train early they are more likely to regress! X
Leave her naked at home! She’s definitely ready!
It makes it a lot easier for her to go independently. Sounds like she’s already doing awesome. When you leave the house take the potty with you.
I’m not a professional by any means but by what I’ve learnt about “readiness”, she could be ready to go! You can see how she fares over a course of the week to see how she responds, whether she’s stressed about it etc x
