Baby Teething

Hi moms! My baby is 9 months old and has just started teething. I can see only one tooth coming through, and it's an upper tooth. Isn't it usually the bottom teeth that come in first? Should I be concerned about it?

Usually the bottom 2 come first but every baby is different and may have a different time line. I would wait a little and check if any others are cutting through and get their dentist to check it out.

The timelines cross over so you can get teeth coming in a different order. If the bottom ones typically come in between 6 - 10 months and the top from like... 7 - 12 months there is some overlap.

I wouldn’t worry, my little boy has 8 teeth and they definitely didn’t come in the correct order, we had our top front ones first and was cross cutting after that, they all come in whenever they are ready, as long as there are no problems with the teeth it shouldn’t matter what order they come in at☺️

@Kezia thank you for sharing! Good to know that, so I can stop worrying 😅
