Potty training

Anyone have a toddler who's holding their pee for hours until you give in a put a nappy back on? We've been nappy free for the past 3/4 hours and nothing despite multiple sits on the potty 🤦 he's definitely holding it and I don't know how to help him! Never had a issue with this with my older girls so any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏 x

Following as kids have the same problem x

Mine will hold it until we take him to the potty, sometimes he refuses and says he doesn’t need to, but as soon as he sits down, he needs a wee! Is he wearing pants or just naked? I’ve seen some people try toys and bubbles to get them to relax a bit more on the potty, could be worth a try?

So he held it from 1-7 even when I put him on the potty, had him blow bubkes etc! Next day he's was doing at all over the house so not sure what that was about 🤦 @Frayere yep naked front he waist down but he doesn't seem interested at all in the potty day may just try again in few weeks x

@Danielle ahh ok, my only advice was going to be see how he finds it wearing pants! But yeah maybe leave it a little, it’s so hard when you think they’re ready, try training and realise actually maybe they aren’t lol

@Frayere I did try pants too he had them on for about 3 minutes and decided he didn't wanna wear them 🤦 he's such a character lol x
