Cried wolf
Hello! My little girl has aced toilet training so far! She's been so good at self initiating unless really distracted and accidents are getting fewer. Recently though she keeps telling me she needs a wee or poo and then doesn't go and just gets straight back up! It's so frustrating.. I don't want to not help her and then her have an accident but also can't keep taking her every 5 seconds! Does anyone have any tips before she goes back to pre school in Sep x

I was going with my girl everytime but it quickly becomes exhausting especially with the false alarms! I slowly started leaving her on the toilet whilst I ‘nipped to grab something’ etc and eventually she would just go by herself cos she realised she didn’t need me. She will come and tell me she has done a poo now but other than that she is independent.
