oh no… this is my first pregnancy so i’m getting a little anxious😂 are we just expected to do our own reading on it or something then🙄 like I wouldn’t even know how to write a birth plan or what to include😅 @Chloe

In my area we discussed birth plans around 36/37 weeks. There was a list of questions included in the pack I was given when I was booked in with midwife at 8 weeks ish, I just had to complete that with the midwife at my 36 week appointment. I would say defo do your own reading/learning on options available so you can make informed decisions and have the birth you want.

Mine was discussed at 34 weeks with my midwife appointment

I didn't do one I was advised to write down what I wanted but baby came early so I had no time x

I asked my midwife yesterday and she basically said my trust don’t really do them anymore but if you have badger app there is a section for your birth plan and you can fill it in on there xx

I'm 30 weeks hasn't been discussed yet. I've been doing my own research. However, if you're set on a C section, a friend of mine was with my Midwife and by the time it came to the birth plan discussion she said she should have said sooner if she wanted a C! So if you want that and are set, maybe tell them earlier! No harm in asking for info I suppose either! She still got her section but I think it needs to be booked in time!

I did it at 35 weeks but was told I would be asked again when I went into labour as things change. The only plan I had was for baby to arrive safely.

Its around 36 weeks at your appointment. Yes I would recommend doing your own reading. The appointment isn't long enough to go through all options and all possibilities.

It was never really discussed with me. I did my birth plan using the app badger. But you can modify whenever you want. I think my last modification was week 36 or something
