Congratulations! Yeah you’ll be around 3-4w. You can call your doctor anytime or register with a midwife online via nhs website. I just so happened to have a dr app 3 days after I found out at 3+3 but didn’t hear from midwife until I was 8w xx

I called the doctor right away because I wanted to check none of my prescriptions were bad for the baby and they were fine with it

Similar to georgie my clear blue said 3-4 but it was about 6 weeks, I told go straight away they then asked me fill out an online form that sends a message to the midwife’s to then book an appointment with you I didn’t get one till 9 weeks! The earlier you do it the less delays it will cause as they will put you through the system for an appointment! Congratulation 🩷

Normally, the midwives will work it out from your last menstrual cycle. So the first week of your pregnancy is considered the week you had your last period xx then at the dating scan they will confirm exactly how far along you are. As everybody else mentioned, do it straight away. I did it the day after I found out and they called me for an appointment at 8weeks in which they just go over the basics and take blood test.

Search your local antenatal service and they should have a number or website to self refer now. GP's don't get involved anymore unless as someone said it's to advise on existing medication etc. I called my GP straight away thinking that's what they did and the receptionist was like "so why are you calling us?". They were able to give me the number and website for self referral though! Midwives will then book you in for your first booking appointment at about 8-10 weeks. They'll book your first scan appointment from there. Congratulations 🎉
